The hoisting mechanism of the rotating electromagnetic beam bridge crane adopts a classic parallel axis arrangement. The trolley travel mechanism uses a low‑speed shaft centralized drive structure, while the crane travel mechanism features independent drives on both sides.

 

According to the type of load‑handling device, the crane can be classified into hook type and beam type;

according to the beam arrangement – parallel to the main girder and perpendicular to the main girder;

according to the rotation method – upper‑rotation type and lower‑rotation type;

according to the operation mode – floor control, cab control, and remote control.

 

The rotating electromagnetic beam bridge crane is equipped with a rotatable beam, suitable for lifting and moving materials of different sizes that require horizontal rotation. Specialized lifting devices such as electromagnetic chucks and clamps can be mounted under the beam.

 

In terms of safety protection, the electromagnetic beam crane incorporates an innovative triple protection mechanism:

dual upper limit switches + rotation limit switch on the drum + heavy‑hammer anti‑collision limit switch on the trolley frame.

 

Specifically designed for rotating and placing long magnetic metal materials (steel plates, sections, etc.) in space‑constrained environments, the crane features a double‑lifting‑point, single‑motor driven twin‑drum structure. The wire rope is wound in a single layer without multiple redirections. The rotating electromagnetic beam can achieve a rotation range from 0° to –240°, flexibly meeting the requirements of directional changes and cross‑stacking, thus adapting to various working scenarios.

 

The telescopic beam allows electric adjustment of magnet spacing and stepless regulation of magnetic force according to the size (thickness, length, number of plates, etc.) and weight of the material being lifted.

 

This crane is widely used in steelmaking, shipbuilding, port logistics, and other industries – both indoors and in open‑air yards – for loading, unloading, and handling steel plates, sections, coils, and other materials. It helps upgrade material transfer and storage under complex working conditions.
