Electrolytic Aluminum Overhead Crane is a heavy-duty overhead crane specially designed for prebaked anode aluminum electrolysis production lines. It is mainly used for key process operations in the electrolysis workshop, including anode replacement, busbar lifting, electrolytic cell maintenance, and material handling. The electrolytic aluminum overhead crane must operate reliably under extremely harsh conditions, such as high temperatures exceeding 80°C around the electrolytic cells, strong magnetic fields up to 100 mT, and a corrosive environment containing hydrofluoric acid dust and gases. To ensure long-term stable operation, this electrolytic cell overhead crane features anti-magnetic, heat-resistant, and corrosion-resistant designs.

 

The electrolytic aluminum overhead crane is highly functionally integrated, typically equipped with various specialized attachments, including anode clamping devices, crust-breaking impact hammers, and spent anode grabbers. These tools enable multiple operations, such as precise positioning and installation of anodes, removal of spent anodes, and breaking of electrolyte crust. Typical application scenarios include electrolytic cell maintenance, anode busbar transfer, and electrolytic cell start-up.

 

The electrolytic aluminum overhead crane is the core process handling system in prebaked anode aluminum electrolysis production, specifically designed for operating environments characterized by high temperature, strong magnetic fields, heavy dust, and high corrosivity. It is not just a crane, but a highly integrated automated robot specifically designed to cope with the extreme environment of the electrolysis workshop, including high temperatures, strong magnetic fields, heavy dust, and corrosive gases.

 

Usage Scenarios

Anode replacement: Automatically tightens and loosens the screw clamp, removes spent anodes, and accurately installs new anodes. This is the most precise and core function.

 

Crust breaking and feeding: Breaks the electrolyte crust and accurately adds raw materials such as alumina into the electrolytic cell.

 

Molten aluminum tapping and weighing: Uses a vacuum aluminum tapping device to extract molten aluminum, features single-pot and cumulative weighing functions, and can print data.

 

Slag grabbing: Uses a grab to clean up residual slag from the anode cavity produced after anode replacement.

 

Other auxiliary operations: Includes lifting the anode busbar raising frame, lifting the upper structure of the electrolytic cell, and lifting the cell shell for maintenance.

Integrates hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC automatic control to ensure stable and reliable operation under extreme working conditions.

 

Intelligent Solution: Uses electronic tag identification, allowing the crane to automatically recognize equipment IDs and perform automatic material feeding. Continuous material level monitoring prevents overflow. Operators can rely on a visual interface in the cabin to monitor material status. Supports three operation modes: ground control box, cab, and remote control, with potential for automatic/semi-automatic upgrades.
